Your negotiating committee met August 10 through August 14 in Ottawa. We were assisted by a mediator appointed by the federal government as referenced in our last update.

UPS Canada Negotiations Update #4

The negotiating committee met July 13 though July 17 in Quebec City. We broke into subcommittees; one group to deal with proposals related to hours of work and another to deal with proposals related to feeder drivers, mechanics, subcontracting and Appendix B. This was done to speed up the process, better define the issues at hand and explain ourselves more clearly.

The negotiating committee met June 22 through June 25 in Vancouver. We were able to get through all proposals with supporting arguments and settled some minor issues.
