Laval, July 1, 2022 - The 100 or so workers at Molson-Coors distribution centers across the province have overwhelmingly rejected management's final offers. They also gave their union a strong strike mandate at recent union meetings.

On June 15, 2012, we lost three members of Teamsters Local Union 362 in an armoured car robbery in Edmonton. Their names were Michelle Shegelski, Brian Ilesic, and Eddie Rejano. A fourth armoured car guard was also shot but survived with gruesome and life alternating injuries. 

Metro Ontario warehouse workers in Ottawa ratified an important new 5-year collective agreement on Sunday. These 120 members of Teamsters Local 91 obtained a minimum immediate increase of $2.25 per hour with full retroactivity to March 31. The average immediate wage increase for these essential supply chain workers ranges from 9% to 25% dependent upon their seniority.

Five days have now passed since union representatives of Teamsters Canada Local 1999 submitted an offer as part of the collective agreement negotiations with Delpharm Pharmaceutical Company in Boucherville. The plant is the largest injectable manufacturing facility in Canada.

Workers at Delpharm pharmaceutical company in Boucherville have taken action with an unlimited general strike was called at 3 a.m. this morning. The plant manufactures essential injectable products for hospital patients in Quebec and across the country.

A new collective agreement was ratified by the workers of Transport Guilbault Long Distance on May 15. These professional drivers, affiliated with Teamsters Local Union 1999, obtain wage increases ranging from $7,000 to $12,000 for the duration of the contract.

Teamsters Local Union 362, which represents approximately 7,000 workers throughout Alberta and the Northwest Territories, has filed an application with the Alberta Labour Relations Board to certify a vote for union representation at the Amazon Fulfillment Centre in Nisku, Alberta.
