CMPA and Alberta’s Teamsters Local 362 reach agreement on new three-year deal
Today, the Canadian Media Producers Association and Teamsters Local 362 jointly announced the successful negotiation of a three-year master agreement. The new deal, which has been ratified by the members of both parties, establishes the terms, conditions and rates for crew including drivers, wranglers and caterers engaged in film, TV and digital media production in Alberta.
Passing of Aline Lachapelle, a Pioneer of our Union
I was saddened to learn this week that Sister Aline Lachapelle, former president of Teamsters Local Union 1998, passed away. She was the first woman to become president of a Teamster local union in Canada.
