We are experiencing an unprecedented global health threat that is affecting our economies, our social lives and our physical well being. As Teamster women, you are the ones on the front lines working to ensure that others are taken care of both in the workplace and at home. I want you to know that I stand with you, as do all your Teamster sisters in the U.S.
In times of crisis, Teamsters are the ones who ensure that food is delivered, that health care is provided, and other important services are continued even at great personal risk. I applaud you for your commitment, your strength and your support of each other. Our Union is great because of each and every one of you!
As they say, if you want to get something done, give it to a Teamster – especially a Teamster Woman!
