Description: This course is designed for members, shop stewards, health and safety representatives, and business agents who work under provincial or federal jurisdiction.
This course empowers participants to denounce problems and take actions. More specifically to:
- Understand what discrimination in the workplace is;
- Anticipate the employer’s responses to discrimination;
- Understand the employer’s duty to accommodate and our role as a union;
- Determine how to support the victim.
