Description: This course is designed for shop stewards, health and safety representatives, and business agents who work under provincial or federal jurisdiction.
This course empowers our union leaders to better support our members. To supply our representatives with tools in order for them to better help our members dealing with workers’ compensation and insurances claims. More specifically to:
- Determine union representative’s roles and resources;
- Define what is an accident and what is a illness;
- Develop the ability to file a proper claim;
- Identify traps in the process and how to avoid them.
