Course Duration: 2 days
Course Prerequisite: Participants must have attended The Heart of the Union: Shop Steward at work training course and have at least three (3) years of experience as shop stewards.
Description: This course is designed for experienced shop stewards and business agents.
This course builds confidence in representing our members. More specifically to:
- Master work procedures to build comprehensive cases, in order to settle grievances or proceed to arbitration;
- Develop abilities to face management;
- Understanding the arbitration process;
- Develop the skills to testify as a witness during an arbitration hearing.
