In the last letter sent to Teamsters members concerning the Air Canada Jazz wage re-opener, we made the commitment to inform you of the arbitrator’s final award.
You will find attached hereto a copy of Mr. Michel Picher’s award. We invite you to read the document and take note that the monetary adjustments related to salary increases and the profit sharing plan, as provided in the decision, are retroactive and must be paid within two pay periods of the award.
We would like to mention the important contribution of co-spokespersons David Frost and Guy Bissonnette, elected council members Anne Dean, Christian Boutet, Janet Pamenter, Sandra Huva and Britt Stevens, business agents Jim Russell, Shahan Simon and Cheryl Popeniuk as well as our legal counsel, Stéphane Lacoste.
