Scott Moe called on Ottawa to intervene in the event of a strike at Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), which he said would be "catastrophic" for Saskatchewan. He has launched a petition asking the government to pass back-to-work legislation if workers walk out.

Canadian Pacific (CP) have served the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) with notice of lockout. In the event there is not a negotiated settlement between the parties, CP will lockout the Union on March 20, 2022 at 0001 a.m. 

Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) has completed and tallied the results of a strike vote. There were 3,062 ballots sent out to the membership, with 96.7 per cent in favour of strike action if necessary.
