International Women’s Day is an opportunity for Teamsters Canada to reiterate its commitment and support not only to Teamster women but to women across Canada and around the world.
We’re serious about encouraging and motivating female members. We created a seat for women on our National Executive Board. And as a member of the Canadian labour delegation at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, we’re also working to promote equality and empower women.
To all Teamster women and to women across Canada: be the change you want to see! Get involved, be loud, and take your rightful place!
