Brothers and Sisters,
As most of you know, Jim Russell, long time Officer and Business Agent for Teamsters Local Union 927, has been battling the most severe form of Multiple Sclerosis for a number of years. Although related to his illness, his death late Thursday was accidental.
Jim is at peace now and will be remembered as a good man with a beautiful sense of humour about his condition.
The funeral will be held tomorrow (December 15) at 2 pm at the Allen Funeral Home in Kennecook, Nova Scotia. If you knew Jim, please visit the funeral home website allenfh.ca and offer condolences to the family. I know it would mean a great deal to Mary and his girls.
Jim will always be on our mind and deeply missed.
