The numbers don’t lie – Canada is facing a mental health crisis and it is affecting every aspect our society, including our workplaces and our youth.
This is troubling, as young people represent our future professionals, health care providers and leaders in Canada who will be dealing with the mental health issues in our country.
It is up to Canadians in positions of power to make sure real change happens, and that mental health is something that gets the attention it deserves by government officials and policy makers across the country.
In this episode we look at the role of government when it comes to mental health support in the workplace and for youth throughout Canada. We speak with representatives from different political parties about what they think government and Canadians can do to improve the state of mental health support.
Help us spread the word by sharing our videos on social media, tweeting and emailing politicians and policy makers and letting other Canadians know that together, we can make a change when it comes to mental health.
If we work together to make enough noise, they have to listen.
Help us make mental health support mandatory! #MakeItMandatory
