Description: This course is designed for members, shop stewards, and health and safety representatives working in federally regulated workplaces.
This course empowers participants to play an active role in eliminating or reducing dangers in the workplace by educating and mobilizing our members. More specifically to:
- Know our rights and responsibilities under Canada Labour Code Part II;
- Define the Employer’s obligations;
- Understand one’s role as health and safety representative in the workplace;
- Understand how to be active and mobilize our members.
