Furious Molson union members vote for strike action

Furious, the 320 or so workers present at the meeting voted 99% against the latest employer offers and 99% in favour of giving a strike mandate to their union, Teamsters Local Union 1999.

Teamsters Canada represents 125,000 members in all industries across the country. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, with which Teamsters Canada is affiliated, represents 1.4 million workers in North America.

End of the School Bus Drivers’ Strike at Autobus Campeau in Outaouais

A union meeting took place today in Gatineau, Outaouais, where 100 school bus drivers, who are members of the Teamsters Local Union 106, ratified a 6-year collective agreement with Autobus Campeau.
