The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) is very pleased to announce the ratification of their new collective agreement affecting approximately 6,000 Locomotive Engineers, Conductors and Yard Workers employed with CN Rail in Canada.  The ratification vote passed with 70.7% in favour.

“Congratulations to CN workers on their new agreement. I would once again like to salute the bargaining committee for their hard work, and thank all the members who took part in this process,” commented the national president of Teamsters Canada, François Laporte.

TCRC President Paul Boucher commended the membership for the ratification. “I want to graciously thank the members who took the time to educate themselves on this agreement and cast their ballot accordingly.  The membership has duly exercised their rights and secured a collective agreement that will benefit themselves for years to come,” he said.

The General Committees will now begin the implementation process with CN and will distribute all information accordingly.
