Brothers,
Sisters
Friends,

On this International Worker’s Day, let us come together to celebrate the power and resilience of workers across Canada and the world.

This day serves as a reminder that our efforts have brought progress and better working conditions for everyone. From securing fair wages to establishing health and safety standards, we have made strides in improving the lives of workers.

However, there is still much to be done. Our fight continues for better job security, equal pay, and the respect that all workers deserve. We must remember that solidarity is our greatest strength, and together, we can overcome any challenge.

Today, let us honour the efforts of those who have come before us and forge ahead with renewed determination to build a brighter future for all workers.

In solidarity,

François Laporte
President of Teamsters Canada
Vice President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters
