Course Prerequisite: No prerequisite course is required to register for this course.
Description: This course is designed for newly elected shop stewards.
This course empowers shop stewards to mobilize, educate and defend our members. More specifically to:
- Determine shop steward’s roles and resources;
- Define how to handle a problem (investigation process, grievance procedure and member’s mobilization);
- Develop abilities to face management;
- Talk Union and build community with members.
