Description: This course is designed for newly elected officers.
This course builds skills and confidence to manage a Local Union with respect of our Teamsters values. More specifically to:
- Explain the history, structure and constitutions of the Teamsters’ Union;
- Define the roles and responsibilities of the Local Union’s officers;
- Develop skills and abilities of an officer
- Provide knowledge on various topics such as: legislative changes, arbitrary decisions, communication strategies, lobbying and how it works.
