Teamsters Canada Rail Conference, representing all running trades employees at CP Rail, announced today that the parties have extended the agreement not to serve strike or lockout notice until Saturday December 8, 2007 to allow the parties to continue to work towards a negotiated settlement.
The current Collective Agreement expired December 31, 2006 and applies to approximately 4500 locomotive engineers, conductors and assistant conductors employed in road and yard service at Canadian Pacific Railway.
