Last week, Local Union 879’s negotiating committee, along with Business Representative Jim Killey, held a ratification meeting for the 370 school bus drivers and monitors at Voyago London.
Members voted 65% in favour of their first collective agreement.
The three-year deal includes a 9% wage increase, seniority-based route selection, strong contract language to protect members, hands-on union representation, and provisions addressing the safety concerns raised during bargaining.
The negotiating committee worked tirelessly to shape an agreement the members can be proud of.
