\"Nego<\/a>Laval, le 19 mars 2015 \u2013 C\u2019est \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 que les membres de la Section locale 1791 du syndicat des Teamsters \u00e0 l\u2019emploi de Remtec ont ratifi\u00e9 leur nouveau contrat de travail lors d\u2019une assembl\u00e9e syndicale tenue en f\u00e9vrier dernier. Ces travailleurs b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront d\u2019augmentations de salaire annuelles de 2,5\u00a0% pendant les cinq ans de la convention collective.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je tiens \u00e0 f\u00e9liciter tout particuli\u00e8rement les confr\u00e8res Bourdeau, Godin et Sirois pour leur excellent travail aupr\u00e8s des membres, a tenu \u00e0 souligner Michel Richard, le responsable du dossier pour la Section locale 1791. C\u2019est par les conventions collectives qu\u2019on am\u00e9liore le sort des travailleurs et qu\u2019on b\u00e2tit des communaut\u00e9s r\u00e9silientes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

D\u2019autres am\u00e9liorations ont aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9es \u00e0 la convention collective, notamment en ce qui a trait aux cong\u00e9s annuels, aux primes de quart de travail, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019un REER avec contributions de l\u2019employeur et \u00e0 l\u2019ajout d\u2019une nouvelle classification. De plus, les v\u00eatements et les outils de travail seront d\u00e9sormais fournis par l\u2019employeur.<\/p>\n

Quant au montant forfaitaire accord\u00e9 aux jours de cong\u00e9 de maladie, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 non seulement maintenu, mais aussi bonifi\u00e9. Enfin, l\u2019usine fermera ses portes pendant la p\u00e9riode comprise entre No\u00ebl et le jour de l\u2019An.<\/p>\n

L\u2019usine de Remtec, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Chambly, se sp\u00e9cialise dans la fabrication de remorques et de remorques-citernes.<\/p>\n
