{"id":2645,"date":"2009-04-23T16:55:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-23T20:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/teamsters.ca\/2009\/04\/une-chute-des-profits-pour-le-canadien-pacifique-a-la-fin-du-premier-trimestre-cause-par-le-volume-de-transport-de-marchandises\/"},"modified":"2019-06-27T20:39:50","modified_gmt":"2019-06-27T20:39:50","slug":"une-chute-des-profits-pour-le-canadien-pacifique-a-la-fin-du-premier-trimestre-cause-par-le-volume-de-transport-de-marchandises","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teamsters.ca\/fr\/blog\/2009\/04\/23\/une-chute-des-profits-pour-le-canadien-pacifique-a-la-fin-du-premier-trimestre-cause-par-le-volume-de-transport-de-marchandises\/","title":{"rendered":"Une chute des profits pour le Canadien Pacifique \u00e0 la fin du premier trimestre caus\u00e9 par le volume de transport de marchandises"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"justify\">Dow Jones Newswires<br \/>Tara Zachariah &ndash; le 23 Avril, 2009<\/p>\n<p>La Soci&eacute;t&eacute; Chemin de fer Canadien Pacifique Limit&eacute;e (CP) a vu ses profits baisser au cours du premier trimestre, refl&eacute;tant principalement la chute du volume de transport de marchandises.<\/p>\n<p>Le Canadien Pacifique si&eacute;geant &agrave; Calgary a affich&eacute; un b&eacute;n&eacute;fice net de 62,5 millions $CAN ou 0,39 $ par action au premier trimestre.&nbsp; Exclusion faite d&rsquo;&eacute;l&eacute;ments sp&eacute;cifi&eacute;s, le r&eacute;sultat par action est de 0,34 $, derri&egrave;re la moyenne des pr&eacute;visions des analystes de 0,48 $.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;an dernier le b&eacute;n&eacute;fice net du transporteur ferroviaire &eacute;tait de 90,8 millions $CAN ou 0,59 $ par action, sur la base PCGR et 0,75 $ sur une base ajust&eacute;e.<\/p>\n<p>Le total des produits a chut&eacute; de 6,6% &agrave; 1,07 milliards $CAN, l&eacute;g&egrave;rement au-dessus des pr&eacute;visions des analystes de 1,04 milliards $CAN.<\/p>\n<p>Au chapitre des rapports des exploitations de la compagnie, ou le pourcentage des revenus absorb&eacute; par les d&eacute;penses de l&rsquo;exploitation, il &eacute;tait de 87% tandis qu&rsquo;il &eacute;tait de 82,4% l&rsquo;an dernier.&nbsp; Une croissance repr&eacute;sente une hausse des d&eacute;penses par rapport au revenu, ce qui veut dire un r&eacute;sultat qui a empir&eacute;.<\/p>\n<p>Les analystes ont constat&eacute; une baisse notable des volumes au CP et font remarquer que les volumes du mois de Mars &eacute;taient plus bas qu&rsquo;en F&eacute;vrier et en Janvier, et que le mois d&rsquo;Avril s&rsquo;annonce encore plus particuli&egrave;rement affect&eacute;.&nbsp; Alors que la situation est semblable dans les autres syst&egrave;mes ferroviaires, le CP est particuli&egrave;rement affect&eacute; par le d&eacute;clin des volumes d&rsquo;envois dans certains secteurs, entre autre le potasse et le charbon canadien.&nbsp; Le transport intermodal est aussi en baisse, caus&eacute; par la chute du volume de transport avec l&rsquo;Asie.<\/p>\n<p>Les cadres de la compagnie ont r&eacute;cemment pr&eacute;venu, lors de conf&eacute;rences pour les investisseurs, que sans hausse des volumes, des postes et des d&eacute;penses en capital devront subir des r&eacute;ductions.<\/p>\n<p>Le communiqu&eacute; de presse de jeudi au sujet des r&eacute;sultats n&rsquo;a pas fait mention de nouvelles mises &agrave; pied, mais la compagnie a not&eacute; qu&rsquo;elle a effectu&eacute; des mises &agrave; pied de plus de 2400 &agrave; ce jour.<\/p>\n<p>En 2009, le CP pr&eacute;voit r&eacute;duire son programme d&rsquo;immobilisation de 740 millions $CAN &agrave; 720 millions $CAN, une r&eacute;duction par rapport &agrave; la fourchette pr&eacute;vue de 800 millions $CAN &agrave; 820 millions $CAN.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst&egrave;me ferroviaire concurrent Canadien National (CNI) a d&eacute;pass&eacute; toutes les attentes, alors qu&rsquo;il a publi&eacute; ses b&eacute;n&eacute;fices du premier trimestre, &agrave; cause de la r&eacute;ussite des am&eacute;liorations &agrave; la productivit&eacute;, malgr&eacute; une baisse rapide des volumes.<\/p>\n<p>A la fermeture des march&eacute;s boursiers &agrave; Toronto, mercredi, le cours de l&rsquo;action &agrave; Toronto de CP se chiffrait &agrave; 41,00 $CAN une baisse de 0,44 $.<\/p><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<ul>\n<li>Site Web Wall Street Journal <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/BT-CO-20090423-709088.html\">&gt;&gt;&gt; <\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dow Jones NewswiresTara Zachariah &ndash; le 23 Avril, 2009 La Soci&eacute;t&eacute; Chemin de fer Canadien Pacifique Limit&eacute;e (CP) a vu ses profits baisser au cours du premier trimestre, refl&eacute;tant principalement la chute du volume de transport de marchandises.
