Par cons\u00e9quent, Camo-route et ses partenaires ont mis au point cette strat\u00e9gie de recrutement et de r\u00e9tention de main-d\u2019oeuvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00ab&nbsp;Teamsters Canada est tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9occup\u00e9 par les questions d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 en emploi entre les hommes et les femmes, a expliqu\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ois Laporte dans son allocution. Avec un taux de repr\u00e9sentativit\u00e9 (des femmes) dans la profession de seulement 4%, il est essentiel de mettre en place des mesures pour corriger la situation.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>De fait, dans un contexte de raret\u00e9 de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et par souci d\u2019une plus grande justice sociale, le syndicat des Teamsters est d\u2019avis que les employeurs et les syndicats doivent collaborer ensemble \u00e0 la transformation des milieux de travail dans l\u2019optique d\u2019accueillir les futures conductrices de l\u2019industrie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camo-route et ses partenaires ont d\u2019ailleurs fait une \u00e9tude afin de comprendre les enjeux auquels font face les femmes dans l\u2019industrie du transport routier. Le plan d\u2019action qui en a d\u00e9coul\u00e9 pr\u00e9voit de cr\u00e9er un milieu favorable, inclusif et respectueux, de soutenir le parcours acad\u00e9mique et professionnel des conductrices et d\u2019assurer une responsabilit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e de la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 de cette campagne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il reste encore beaucoup de chemin \u00e0 faire pour atteindre ces objectifs, mais le pr\u00e9sident canadien des Teamsters a assur\u00e9 Camo-route que \u00ab&nbsp;tous ensemble, nous allons y arriver.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00ab&nbsp;Nous devons projeter une image inclusive de l\u2019industrie \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre f\u00e9minine et nous assurer que le cadre de travail et de formation est s\u00e9curitaire et exempt de biais discriminatoires ou de harc\u00e8lement, a conclu le confr\u00e8re Laporte.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Le syndicat des Teamsters repr\u00e9sente les int\u00e9r\u00eats de plus de 125 000 travailleurs-euses au Canada dans plusieurs secteurs d\u2019activit\u00e9s, dont plus de 15 000 qui oeuvrent dans le transport routier.
