Ainsi, une travailleuse enceinte ou qui allaite devrait pouvoir cesser d\u2019exercer ses fonctions si elle estime que la poursuite de ses t\u00e2ches courantes peut constituer un risque soit pour sa sant\u00e9 ou celle de son enfant \u00e0 na\u00eetre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ce n\u2019est malheureusement pas le cas.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les femmes qui ont besoin d\u2019un retrait pr\u00e9ventif pendant leur grossesse subissent souvent des pertes de revenu importantes. Les prestations d\u2019assurance-emploi peuvent \u00eatre insuffisantes pour permettre \u00e0 certaines femmes de quitter leur emploi pour leur propre s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et celle de leur enfant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral devrait se pencher sur cette injustice et prendre exemple sur la loi qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise, par exemple, qui garantit aux femmes en retrait pr\u00e9ventif l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux indemnit\u00e9s de la CNSST (l\u2019agence provinciale d\u2019indemnisation des accidents de travail).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rappelons que le syndicat des Teamsters a tent\u00e9 de porter ce dossier devant la Cour supr\u00eame afin de corriger cette injustice flagrante pour 51&nbsp;% de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre au pays.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-very-light-gray-color has-vivid-red-background-color\">Teamsters Canada encourage ses membres \u00e0 consulter les plateformes \u00e9lectorales des partis politiques afin de conna\u00eetre leurs positions sur les diff\u00e9rents enjeux de la campagne.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En principe, une salari\u00e9e assujettie au Code du travail f\u00e9d\u00e9ral devrait avoir le droit de refuser un travail dangereux.
