The Federal Government will put a back-to-work legislation on the order paper in the House of Commons. In a show of solidarity, Teamsters Canada Rail Conference will be holding a «Blame CP back-to-work» Barbeque in Toronto and Montreal.

TCRC, which represents more than 12,000 railway workers, have continually stressed the need for more inspectors to be hired to see to the optimal operation of the equipment and the integrity of the tracks.

The Teamsters Union will meet the press at 12:30 today at the Press Gallery in the Parliament building. Doug Finnson, Vice-President of Teamsters Canada Rail Conference and chief negotiator, as well as Benoit Brunet, negotiator, will be available to answer questions from the media about the strike at Canadian Pacific and the back-to-work legislation.
