In such a large union, communication is a very important component of success. Our Communications Department produces a quarterly magazine (Teamsters Canada) which satisfies our Canadian members’ special needs and interests. We also provide assistance to local unions in public relations and in the preparation of press conferences, brochures and other printed matters. Furthermore, we have organized a project where Canadian Teamsters local unions can contribute to our national website. All local union leaders are invited to participate in this project.
